Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CartoVoxel, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

CartoVoxel provides tools and content for creating Minecraft-compatible worlds from real-world map areas. The service may include map selection, area estimates, output format choices, generation queues, email delivery, and related informational pages.

The /create flow is a map order confirmation flow. A map order is not submitted to the generation queue until you confirm a free order or complete checkout for a paid order.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the locations, areas, settings, and contact information you submit. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use generated files in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

Generated Files

Generated world files depend on available map data, terrain data, selected area, chosen settings, queue conditions, and technical limits. CartoVoxel does not guarantee that every building, road, landmark, terrain feature, or land cover area will be complete or accurate.

If generation fails, CartoVoxel provides a reasonable retry or support path according to the product policy shown at checkout.

Pricing and Payments

If paid generation is enabled, pricing may be based on selected area, output format, queue priority, or other visible options. Prices are shown before checkout. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, completed digital map generation orders may not be refundable once processing has begun or a download link has been delivered.

Immediate Digital Processing

Map generation is a digital service. When you confirm a free order or complete checkout for a paid order, you request that CartoVoxel begin processing the selected map area as soon as capacity is available. Once generation has started, cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Draft creation on the homepage does not start generation. It only saves your selected area and options so you can review them before confirmation.

CartoVoxel uses the email address provided or used at checkout for order updates and delivery notices. If you later sign in with the same email, your map orders may appear in your account order history. The order status page also shows the latest status and, when available, the download link for the generated file.

Queue times are estimates. If CartoVoxel cannot generate or deliver a file, contact support for a retry or refund review. Download link availability may depend on storage configuration and the delivery policy shown at the time of completion.

Data Sources and Attribution

CartoVoxel may use OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, CARTO map tiles, and other geographic or elevation datasets. OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License. Users must preserve required notices when applicable.

Intellectual Property and Trademarks

CartoVoxel owns or licenses the website, interface, copy, and brand assets used in the service. You retain responsibility for how you use downloaded world files.

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang/Microsoft. CartoVoxel is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Arnis and MapSmith are referenced for comparison and informational purposes. CartoVoxel is not affiliated with Arnis or MapSmith.

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Attempt to overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
  • Submit abusive, illegal, or harmful requests.
  • Misrepresent CartoVoxel as an official Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, Arnis, or MapSmith product.
  • Remove required attribution from data or generated outputs where attribution is required.

Availability

The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Queue times, generation availability, and output options may vary.

Disclaimer

CartoVoxel is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CartoVoxel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or generated files.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
