Introduction

CartoVoxel helps users create Minecraft-compatible world files from real-world map areas. This privacy policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.

Information We May Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you request a generated map, contact support, or receive a download link.

We may also collect basic usage and device information, such as browser type, pages visited, approximate region, and error logs. This helps us improve reliability, understand which pages are useful, and prevent abuse.

If paid map generation is enabled, payment details are processed by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe or PayPal. CartoVoxel does not store full card numbers.

Map Generation Data

When you select a map area, we may process the location query, center coordinates, bounding box, selected area size, Minecraft edition, output format, generation mode, layer toggles, spawn point, customer note, price estimate, queue estimate, order status, and delivery links. This data is used to estimate, queue, generate, support, and deliver your requested world file.

Generated files and related metadata may be stored for a limited period so you can download the result or request support.

Cookies and Analytics

CartoVoxel may use cookies or privacy-respecting analytics to understand site usage, remember preferences, and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Sources and Attribution

CartoVoxel may use map and geographic data from sources such as OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, CARTO map tiles, and terrain/elevation datasets. OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License. Attribution and data notices appear near map interfaces and on relevant legal or attribution pages.

When you use location search, your typed query is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service from the browser. Map tiles are loaded from CARTO's tile service with OpenStreetMap attribution. Those third-party services may receive technical request information such as IP address and browser metadata.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the website, process payments, send email, store generated files, prevent abuse, or analyze reliability. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

CartoVoxel may use Resend for transactional email when email delivery is configured. Your account email or checkout email may be shared with the configured email provider solely to send verification, order status, and delivery messages.

CartoVoxel is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. CartoVoxel is also not affiliated with Arnis or MapSmith. References to those names are for identification, comparison, and informational purposes.
